Our capital campaign goal is $250,000. On May 16, 2021, we kicked off our capital campaign and as of August 1, 2021, we have already raised $150,000 in gifts, leaving a balance of $100,000 yet to be raised. On August 15, 2021, the Bruce Krier Foundation announced a $50,000 matching donation. Once the $50,000 is matched, we will have reached our goal. Please consider a donation today as we continue to our goal.
Monies raised will fund the following projects:
• Erect a Bell Memorial in St. Mary’s Cemetery to house the 3 glorious bells from St. Mary’s Church. The bells will be refurbished to their original splendor and electrified to ring once again
• Showcase signage telling the history of St. Mary’s Parish and recognizing donors
• Resurface the main road in the cemetery and black top additional cemetery roads
• Correct problematic drainage issues in the cemetery
• Update landscaping and add additional landscaping between the cemetery and adjacent properties to protect the sanctity of the cemetery

Family Gifts
St. Mary’s Parish has always been about families! Consider working with family members to pool your individual gifts into a larger FAMILY GIFT in honor or memory of your family or loved ones.
Tax-Deductibility
Bells of St. Mary’s Inc. is a 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation. Donations to the Bells of St. Mary’s Capital Campaign are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Memorials
Consider making Bells of St. Mary’s Capital Campaign the recipient of memorials at the time of death of a loved one. Following the capital campaign, consider making St. Mary’s Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund the recipient of memorials to assist with the ongoing upkeep and care of historic St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Donor Recognition
Donors of $100 or more to Bells of St. Mary’s Capital Campaign will be permanently recognized on the donor recognition sign to be displayed by the Bell Memorial.
